WHAT THE AFLATOUN IS?
‘Aflatoun’ is an innovative program which aims at improving the social skills and the level of social commitment and creativity of children and adolescents aged 6-20 years. It is being implemented in 111 countries around the world and gives support to more than 2 million people. In sustainable way the program discusses the social and financial matters and explores the potential of children and young people, develops critical thinking and commitment in activities for the local environment, while preparing them for being open, tolerant and active citizens. The program creates local Aflatoun teams, so that education takes place continuously and not temporary.
Within this project, we will develop an educational app and train 96 educators. They will establish a network of 64 Aflatoun clubs in Poland, which will carry out innovative activities for 960 young people aged 6-20 years.
